Tugwell Creek Honey Farm and Meadery is British Columbia's first Meadery. Mead Maker and Master Beekeeper Robert Liptrot has 43 years of beekeeping and 25 years of Mead making experience.

Discover the fascinating history of Mead -- the world’s first fermented beverage. Mead (Honey Wine) is the oldest art of fermentation. Consumed by all, down through the ages: from kings to peasants, mead has gained a reputation as a giver of life, wisdom, courage and strength. Learn how this unique beverage is crafted. Taste award winning Meads in our cosy tasting room and tour the Meadery.

Explore the secret life of bees and understand their importance and how they contribute to the well being of our planet.  Meet our bee colony (behind glass) and see the inner workings of their world.

1 hour tour begins at 11am Sundays - May 1st through October 31st
$10 per person. Cost of tour is forgiven with equivalent purchase.
